|Am i at risk
Sep 14, 2006
i recently while travelling in Africa had sexual intercourse with a native woman in a highly hiv and aids riddled township. I wore 2 condoms but the lady bled, the blood got onto my clothes but not my genital area as the condoms were still intact. It has only been 4 days since that incident and i want to know what course of action i should take to determine reliably whether i have been infected. I suffer from OCD and this is really making me feel suicidal as i dont know whether i have hiv or not. Could you please advise the most reliable test i can take at this stage.

The locally available HIV antibody test is very reliable, but you need to wait 6-8 weeks for it to be reliable.
