Response from Dr. Horwath
I have no way of knowing exactly how ill your brother is without knowing further details. Amputation of limbs may be necessary due to circulatory problems, diabetes, severe infections or other causes. However, amputation in many cases may be life-saving. It certainly sounds like your brother is severely ill, but you should not abandon hope. Severely ill people sometimes recover. Perhaps his doctors can give a better idea about his prognosis. | ||||||||||
