dexadrine, strattera, or provigil
Aug 31, 2005
what are the main uses of dexadrine, strattera, provigil? I am hiv+ & have used all 3 on different occasions. Can they be used in combination? I have tried using strattera & provigil together. Is that dangerous in any way? thanks.

Dextroamphetamine has been shown to be helpful in treating the fatigue, apathy and concentration problems sometimes seen in patients with early signs of cognitive problems and HIV.
Provigil and Strattera have also been used for these symptoms, but there are no studies, and much less experience with these drugs. There is no particular reason to use combinations. That generally increases the risk for side effects without contributing much to the effectiveness of these drugs.
