| Should I seek professional counseling Nov 17, 2004 Dear Doctor Horwarth, I am currently obsessed with the idea that I have contracted hiv through some rare form of transmission. Can you please tell me if I should have any concern or if I am just anxiety ridden. I don't trust many people up to and including the counselor that gave me my last hiv blood test. I am concerned that the needle used was not new. What if it had been recapped? How do I know? Also concerned that I got infected through an open deep blisters I had on my fingers and those cuts were exposed to outside sources. Please help me ease my mind. Thanks so much for you time. |
