| Reducing stress Nov 22, 2003 I've heard by many that reducing stress is a good way of staying healthy with HIV. I am not a spiritual person, not into religion or anything like that. What are other ways to reduce stress? |

Response from Mr. Shernoff
There are many ways to reduce stress. A regular exercise program where you do some kind of vigorous exercise like even just walking quickly for at least twenty to thirty minutes is an exellent way to reduce stress. For people who have a beloved pet spending time playing with a dog or cat is another way. Spending time with good friends or family members just enjoying life, seeing a funny movie, sitting by a river, stream, lake or the ocean, or learning to meditate are all ways that can help to reduce stress.
