stress and fatigue
Sep 28, 2008
I recently had a new job. One day, after two weeks I went to work and felt so dizzy I can barely stand. It got better after a couple hours but I felt very weak and had a sore throat for 4-5 days. I believe I've contacted HIV a few weeks ago during an incident. However, I did not start worrying until someone told me fatigue is a symptoms of HIV.Could I really have been stressed out? Or maybe I should go for a check up?
Response from Dr. Horwath
There are dozens of causes for dizziness. It is very unlikely that this is due to HIV.
If you have had unprotected sex or injected drugs, then you should get tested for HIV.
