Dear Doc; after being infected with HIV for almost 23 yrs now, I have done a Little reading. I don't know if these programs do work, but have read astonishing reviews on the "Gerson therapy" "Ozone Therapy" and a couple of others which have all had to move their practices to other countries cuz the U.S. has outlawed the practices! The gerson therapy is nothing more than organic coffee enemas, in combination with a juicing program. why would something so simple be outlawed ! and not have more research into this simple program? I don't have the funds to get to Mexico to undertake the program myself. but it stands to reason, I'd be a more productive citizen if I where cured of HIV rather than being stuck on a regime of medicines which causes so many side effects it causes me to be disabled. It boils down to Quality vs. Quantity at this point, most of my 23 yrs of being infected has caused myself and many to not only be disabled, but a poor quality of life, running to the bathroom every 20-30 mins, mental fog, nuropathy,fatigue,and waisting syndrome doesn't make one happy to be alive! @ 42 years old, I feel embarrassed that I have more in common with my 87 yr old neighbor than I do, with people my own age.

HIV infection is a very serious health problems. HIV makes people sick, disabled and causes enormous suffering and misery. The medical treatments that are available are far from perfect. They cause unpleasant side effects and are difficult to take faithfully over long periods of time. However, the antiretroviral medications are the best we have to offer right now. They have dramatically reduced mortality from HIV and have substantially improved the quality of life for most people who take them (compared to people with HIV and no access to HAART).

Organic coffee enemas do not cure AIDS. There are many people who make false claims about cures for AIDS. Unfortunately, they are not being honest; they are misleading people who are sick and desperate for a cure that does not exist yet.
