Any true factors of HIV progression
Jan 11, 1999

I am 29 and recently HIV+. I am wondering if there are any true factors that would encourage an onset of cell counts lower than 200 like lack of sleep, etc? There must be things that are better avoided when positive?

Response from Dr. Currier

Generally speaking it is probably good to reduce your stress level, get plenty of sleep and eat a well balanced diet. All of these things will improve your general health and should also help your body fight HIV.
