Response from Dr. Murphy
Dear Questioner, HIV causes an array of immune dysregulation which includes but is not limited to destruction of CD4 lyphocytes. This is why there is an increased incidence in all sorts of cancers, like lymphoma. Controlling the infection hopefully will at least decrease the amount of dysregulation. Robert Murphy, M.D. | |||
