HGH and exercise

Apr 8, 2016

Hello I exercise daily but I have a medical condition that causes HGH deficiency. If I continue to exercise will I grow taller or gain any benifets? I'm 15 and a girl but I had early puberty. Please help!

Response from Dr. Young

Hello and thanks for posting.

If you have human growth hormone deficiency, replacement therapy is both indicated and will help you grow to a more normal stature.

At age 15, you almost certainly have additional growth potential, but I would discuss this with your care provider, who will know more about the particulars of your health situation.

Be well, BY
