still on same meds
Jul 31, 2015

I received your answer and thank you she put on those meds but never told me I was risistance those were just the first meds I took Sustiva video Kaletra if I start new meds wil be ok or should I wait

Response from Dr. Young

Hello again,

Yours is an atypical first-line regimen, but if your viral load has remained suppressed, one can assume that your virus has little or no significant drug resistance. If this is the case, you and your care provider could consider simplification to a newer and more modern drug regimen.

Since you've done so well for so long, there's no rush or immediate need to change your regimen.

Hope that helps, BY
