Unused Presista and Norvir

Feb 1, 2015

My doctor changed my meds. I have sealed bottles of these meds. Is there anyplace that I can donate them? Somewhere, there has to be someone who can't afford their meds....maybe an aids clinic somewhere needs them. There has got to be something better than throwing them away.

Response from Dr. Young

Hello and thanks for posting.

I'd talk to your local community or AIDS service organization. Many have ways to recycle medications (even if formally speaking, it's not allowed).
