|Time from Diagnosis to meds?

In the Philippines and just diagnosed positive. System here not good. I want to go to Thailand and get on meds ASAP. How long to start receiving meds please.

Around the world, treatment guidelines are evolving to recommend treatment for everyone, irrespective of CD4 count or clinical stage (such is the situation here in North America and in other countries around the world).
Until such recommendations are global, the World Health Organization's guidelines are typically endorsed by national governments. These current recommend treatment when one's CD4 cell count is below 500, or in a number of important clinical situations, including: 1) Individuals with HIV and active TB disease 2) Individuals coinfected with HIV and HBV with evidence of severe chronic liver disease 3) Partners with HIV in serodiscordant couples should be offered ART to reduce HIV transmission to uninfected partners 4) Pregnant and breastfeeding women with HIV
If you meet any of these criteria, it's recommended that you start HIV treatment.
