Kivexa and efavirenz
Nov 25, 2014

Is there any diference if i take kivexa in the morning and efavirenz in the night or if i take both in the night? I prefere the first option, this is kivexa in the morning and efavirenz in the night.

Response from Dr. Young

Hello and thanks for posting.

There's no specific timing requirement for Kivexa (Epzicom). So, if it's better for you, you could take your Kivexa in the morning and efavirenz in the evening, but this does convert a potentially all once-daily regimen to a twice-daily routine.

Be well, BY
