Protection From HIV

Aug 30, 2014

Hi, I had read an article that HIV is infected through the sudden decrease in T-helper cells which helps in fighting from diseases and germs. So, would it be possible to kill HIV infection by having the herbs that contains T-Cells in a greater quantity.

Response from Dr. Young

Hello and thanks for posting.

AIDS is caused when HIV kills and lowers CD4 T-cell numbers.

Herbs do not contain T-cells. Herbs have no effect (at least none that have been proven in the 30 years of the epidemic and drug discovery targeting HIV) on the natural history of HIV/AIDS.
