i was the bottom i had unprotected sex in a sex venue in L.A. started insentress + truvada at 15 hours after exposure. How efective is pep within this time frame

Hello and thanks for posting your question about PEP.
PEP is very effective in preventing HIV infection if started (as you have) within 72 hours or exposure and taken with good adherence. You're taking the most currently recommended PEP regimen- indicating that you received good medical advice.
HIV testing 1 and 3 months after your exposure is recommended.
Should your habits put you at repeated HIV risk, consider pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). PrEP, taken daily can dramatically reduce HIV infection rates in at-risk people.
