Can I take my ARV's a little later in the evening?
Feb 12, 2014

Can I start taking my ARV a little later that 20h00 in the evening. I started on the ARV's on the 2nd of January and decided to take it in the evening. But after taking them I feel tired and go to bed pretty early. I would like to take it at 21h00 instead. Is that at all possible? What would the risk be?

Response from Dr. Young

Hello and thanks for posting.

There's no problem at all with your medication dosing. No medication requires such exact timing, so a plus or minus one (or even 5 hour) difference in the clock has no consequences.

Be well, BY
