|Question on resistance
Sep 5, 2013
Unfortunately I have new question that worries me.
Here's what happened I took my meds as usual on Monday night and I fell asleep early on Tuesday because I was exhausted, didn't even notice my alarm went off to take my meds and when I woke up it was 8 hours later than the time I would of taken my pill which I immediately took now I'm a bit panicked as to the degree of risk I may put myself at for developing resistance since it's only been 5 months now that I started this meds.

Hi and thanks for posting.
You're at absolutely no risk of drug resistance from the event that you described. Know that one has to be generally missing (completely missing, not late) more than 5% of their doses to have a significantly increased risk of treatment failure and drug resistance.
Hope that helps, BY
