Igg is236 igm is not reactive cmv with sarcoidosis
Feb 7, 2013

With diagnosis of sarcoidosis in the lung mesentery and chronigc gastritis And ibs should i treat cmv with your combo med, sarcoid is as well in the eyes

Response from Dr. Young

Hi and thanks for posting.

The positive IgG and negative IgM indicates that your CMV is a prior infection- unless there's confirmed clinical or laboratory evidence of active CMV, there's no need for treatment.

Good luck with the sarcoidosis.
