![]() | Response from Dr. YoungHello Felipe and thanks for posting from Brazil. Monoclonal antibodies are used in a wide range of applications- including diagnostics and some medical therapeutics. Pro140 is a humanized monoclonal antibody that, like maraviroc, blocks the CCR5 HIV co-receptor. Still in early (phase 2) stage development, it will still take time to test the effectiveness in larger scale human studies.
