Increasing cd4 count with suppressed viral load Jan 23, 2013 What can I take to increase cd4 count? My viral load is suppressed to below 40 but have.a cd4 count of 34. I also would like advise on nutrition to aid weight gain as I have lost some before starting treatment 3 months ago. |

 Hello and thanks for posting. The best thing to do to increase CD4 counts is to be adherent to an active antiretroviral regimen. Other supplements have generally not shown to add much (assuming that there aren't other medical complications, cancers or infections). If you've lost weight on treatment, discuss your nutrition and dietary intake with your doctor (or ask for a consultation with a nutritionist). I hope that helps, BY | ||||||||
