|URGENT- tramadol Eplivera.
Jan 15, 2013
Ware there any restrictions on taking painkillers with Eplivera? Specifically tramadol? For short term pain relief, I am due to have two teeth extracted on Wednesday and my dentist will only prescribe paracetamol/ ibuprofen, in the past I have had teeth out and found the pain way to no much so I have taken tramadol for a couple of days which helped.
Is there a problem with this now that I am on Eviplera,

Hello and thanks for posting.
It's good to review with your doctors and pharmacists about the potential for drug-drug interactions.
In your case, there aren't any significant interactions. Be mindful that prolonged use of NSAID painkillers, such as ibuprofen can cause kidney damage, so their use should be limited in those people who have kidney problems, particularly among people who are taking other medications with potential kidney toxicity (this includes tenofovir).
I hope that helps. BY
