Syphillis levels

Jan 7, 2013

Hello, I was diagnosed with Syphillis about 2-3 years back, and i have taken 5 range of Pencilins shots 3 times...

Now latest level as per report is SERUM TPHA 1:160 Titer Positive)

Where do I satnd in terms of my level? Even though in last 2-3 years I have taken 5 shots 3 times in this tenure of 3-4 years, still I am getting this levels, so is it a normal level or something to be worried about?

When can I get clean report?

Micheal C.

Response from Dr. Young

Hello Michael C,

This is not a normal test result and suggestive of either new exposure to syphilis or recurrence of the old syphilis (including the possibility of neurosyphilis).

I'd strongly recommend discussing the result and appropriate treatment with your care provider.

NyQuil with complera?
Truvada side effect?
