| Please help me interpret my herpes type I &II test result. Dec 5, 2012 I just got my blood results back from my hsv1/2 (IgG & IgM) tests and i am very scared. This is what I have.. *Anti-HSV (I)-Igg Ab Positive (1.30) Cut off Value of IgG Ab (I) 0.40 Interpretation : -Negative : Absorbance (patient) < COV-15% COV -Equivocal : COV +15% COV < Absorbance (Patient) > COV -15% -Positive : Absorbance ( patient) >/=COV +15%COV Note: COV=Cut Off Value *Anti-HSV (II)-IgG Ab Positive (0.78) Cut Off Value of IgG Ab (II) 0.34 Interpretation : -Negative : Absorbance (patient) < COV-15% COV -Equivocal : COV +15% COV < Absorbance (Patient) > COV -15% -Positive : Absorbance ( patient) >/=COV +15%COV Note: COV=Cut Off Value Anti-HSV-IgM Ab. Positive (0.88) Cut Off Value of IgM 0.44 Sample Type : SERUM Interpretation : -Negative : Absorbance (patient) < COV-15% COV -Equivocal : COV +15% COV < Absorbance (Patient) > COV -15% -Positive : Absorbance ( patient) >/=COV +15%COV Note: COV=Cut Off Value --------------End of Report---------------- So please tell me My result is positive OR Negative ????? please ....! |
