| Truvada and Kaletra and drinking alcohol Sep 28, 2012 I take 1 truvada pill in the morning and 4 kaletra pills throughout the day (2 in the morning, 2 at night). My doctor told me I could drink alcoholic beverages two hours after taking my pills. Tonight I drank a little bit of beer like 15 minutes after taking my 2 night kaletra pills. Will there be any problem with that? Something else, how much alcohol can I drink with my treatment? Thank you! |

Response from Dr. Young
Hi and thanks for posting. Yes, it's ok to drink alcohol in moderation with your HIV medications- I'm not aware of any strict timing restrictions- I don't think that your 15 minutes drink will have any consequences. Hope that helps. Be well, BY | |||||||||
