| Wine and my medication Jul 3, 2012 Hello Doc... I'm on Truvada+Isentress and doing good so far ( VL<40 and CD4 503/20%). What I want to ask you, whether a glass of wine everyday could affect my meds? Thank you Doc |

Hello and thanks for posting. Provided that you don't have active/chronic hepatitis or other issues with your liver function testing, it's usually ok to have wine while taking your medications. On the other hand, for people who have untreated hepatitis C, alcohol should be avoided for increased risk of liver injury. I'd be sure to mention this to your doctor, BY | |||||||||
