ONCE A MONTH VACCINATION
May 7, 2012

HELLO DOCTOR YOUNG , DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT A VACCINE THAT THEY ARE TRYING TO CREATE , I FOUND ONLINE ABOUT A VACCINE THAT THEY SAID IS ONLY ONCE A MONTH AND GOOD BYE HIV PILLS!!!IS IN THE PROCESS IN EUROPE , I NEED TO KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE!

Response from Dr. Young

Hi and thanks for posting.

I'm not aware of any once-monthly vaccine in research development. There are early studies on HIV medications that might be administered less frequently than daily (but would likely require an intravenous infusion).
