Good Morning Sir I am positive for the last 12 years at the time I have one son of 9 years old at the time I done one test to my son and was negativen steel on my mine I am very worry he will be come positive this is possible? I do not have courage to give him test, at the moment is not felling well as some cold and little dierrea is today is 14 years old sincerely

Hello and thanks for posting.

If your son was tested negative as a child (and assuming there's been no other risks), then he does not need any additional testing.

Everyone gets a cold or diarrhea from time to time; worry not. It's not an indication of him having HIV.
