reyataz dosing Jan 12, 2012 hi doc, what is the daily dosing of reyataz with or without norvir? should it be taken with norvir or without? is there any generic for reyataz/norvir so that i can buy at a lower price? i am from asia. |

 Hello and thanks for posting. Atazanavir (Reyataz) can be dosed either with or without ritonavir (Novir) boosting. With 100 mg ritonavir, the dose of atazanavir is 300 mg, both once-daily. If you take a tenofovir-containing regimen, atazanavir must be boosted. Without ritonavir, the dose of atazanavir is 400 mg once-daily. While generic 'taz and ritonavir are not available in the US or Europe, they are available in parts of Asia, including soon a heat-stable fixed dose combination from Mylan pharmaceuticals.
