forgot atripila last night Dec 10, 2011 i have been taking atripila for a little more than one month. i forgot to take it last night at 11pm as i usually do. I took it as soon as i realized it this morning. is this ok? |

 Hi and thanks for posting. It's ok to take a dose late, understanding that with some medications, like efavirenz, there could be side effects associated with daytime dosing. For those who have significant side effects, it might be better just to skip the missed dose (provided that this doesn't happen more than 5% of the doses). This is also a possible teachable moment, when you should try to understand the circumstances that led to the missed dose and to try to figure out if there's a way to decrease the likelihood in the future.
