atripla time of administration
Sep 10, 2011

if i travel to other country with 6 hours of difference how do i adjust the time of my dose of atripla and how do i adjusted back? please asap

Response from Dr. Young

Hello and thanks for posting.

International travel can be difficult enough with jetlag and time changes. Fortunately, dosing of Atripla need not be that difficult- simply set your watch to your flight's destination, eat/drink as you would in there and take your Atripla at the new bed time.

The 6 hour differences shouldn't cause any problems with effectiveness or side effects.

Travel safe, BY
