Regarding HIV & Travel Aug 31, 2011 You recommended a meds travel bag re the newly diagnosed gentleman who travels a great deal for work but neglected to mention that carriying his HIV meds could lead to legal problems in foreign nations once he gets there! Many countries do not treat foreign visitors with HIV very well - some ban you from entering - including Russia and many Middle-eastern nations. Some have restrictions on how long you can stay, etc. Check out the web site http://hivtravel.org to see what you may be up against before you go. |
