| Fuzeon tablets Feb 24, 2011 hello- i was wondering if fuzeon is in tablet form? if not, is there another medication like it? also the other medication in its category is selzentry for ccr5- is that only a ccr5 medication or is it like fuzeon- thanks- |

Hello and thanks for your post. Enfuvirtide (Fuzeon) is only available as a twice-daily subcutaneous injection and it is the only member of it's drug class. Maraviroc (Selzentry) is a different class of medications (CCR5 inhibitor). Both drugs prevent HIV entry into human cells, but work through entirely different mechanisms.
