about aids
Nov 6, 2010

After a person is told they have full blown aids how long do they usually have to live

Response from Dr. Young

Hello and thanks for your post.

Without access to care and treatment, on average, having an AIDS diagnosis is a very poor prognostic indicator. Survival is typically in the 1-4 year range.

With effective treatment, persons with an AIDS diagnosis need not die prematurely and can and do have restoration of health.

I hope this helps, BY

how long?
