i noticed that you have had a few question regarding interaction between asthma medication and HIV treatment. I have been informed of a study pointing to interaction between Flovent and Norvir. This study would have been published in MArch 2001 at a conference in Amsterdam. Where could I get a copy of this study?

Response from Dr. Cohen

This conference on drug interactions was summarized on the NATAP web site - www.natap.org - other that this web site I am not aware of any way to get this information directly from the conference itself, but that info may also appear on the NATAP web site.

I would be surprised if there were an important interaction between flovent - an inhaled steroid - and ritonavir/norvir - but that is why research is done - to see if we should be surprised despite what we otherwise expect.
