If you are able to find out the meds a person is taking that has him currently non-detectable and a condom breaks while having sex with him, should your PEP regime be the same as what he is taking?

Hello and thanks for your post about PEP.
Yes, guidelines around PEP are based on the lack of knowledge of the source person's HIV medication and treatment response.
If you knew that the source person was receiving a suppressive HIV regimen (ie., had an undetectable viral load), it stands to reason that this regimen could be the basis of your PEP treatment. This is an example of how coordination of care between your PEP treatment doctor and the other care providers could ultimately assist in optimal medical care.
