Combivir dosage May 28, 2010 My question is, will my body be in harm if I did not complete my monthly dosage of combivir? |

 If you have HIV infection taking all of your doses is important to try to prevent drug resistance and keep the virus under control. Taking at least 90-95% of the doses would be best. If this is for preventive treatment (PEP)...the recommended dose period is 28 days. The starting couple of weeks is the most important but completing the 28 days would provide the most protection.
