| good combo? May 21, 2010 My Docter wants to put me on norvir, intelence, reyataz, and sustiva. I checked this combo on aidsmeds.com ( http://www.aidsmeds.com/cmm/ ), and it brought a lot of red flags. I would like your thoughts before filling these prescriptions. Thanks for all you do!Chad |

Hello, Chad. Red flags indeed. Is this your first, second or later round of treatment? Have you had previous resistance tests that eliminate the conventional treatment regimens? The use of etravirine (Intellence) and efavirenz (Sustiva) at the same time would really never be recommended (since they work at the same site), and the regimen itself is quite unusual to not include a nucleoside inhibitor (nuke, NRTI).
