Chantix & methadone

Can I take Chantix while being on Methadone? 5mg. twice a day.

There is no drug interaction between methadone and chantix, so they can be used together. Chantix can cause bad dreams and unusual behaviors (including suicidal thoughts and behaviors). So if you have been depressed it may not be a good choice. Discuss it with your health care provider.
