Hello and thank you for your post. Hmmm, none of the regimen that you've listed would be a recommended first-line regimen. From this list, I have to ask which country or region you're writing from, since neither AZT nor d4T are used to initiate treatment here in the US (or western Europe). Just to initiate the topic, there are several resources to find recommended regimens, in the US, we tend to use the DHHS or IAS-USA treatment guidelines. All currently recommended regimens include the use of two NRTIs (one of which is either 3TC or FTC) with either efavirenz (Sustiva, Stocrin) or a ritonavir (Norvir)-boosted protease inhibitor. In Europe (Eastern too), the World Health Organization/Europe Guidelines are often used. Hope this helps. Feel free to write back. BY | |||||||||
