| Low free testosterone Jul 22, 2009 I have have been diagnosed with normal testosterone levels (430) but low free testosterone (9). I have all the symptoms of low t. One of mhy doctors says testosterone replacement will not help but another says it may help. Is there something that does help boost free testosterone? |

Hi and thanks for your post. The key number is the free testosterone, not the total levels. If your free testosterone level is low (as yours is), then you have hypogonadism (or low testosterone). Replacement of testosterone to physiologic levels is a simple,once-daily topical gel. We typically use gel formulations-- Testim or Androgel. Best of health, BY | |||||||||
