what is the situation with yeast and hiv??? i have been having an lot of yeast infection since disnose with hiv in june that how i find out i had hiv i went to dr an they tested me an it came back +

Hello and thanks for your post.

Candidal yeast infections (of the throat or vagina) are quite common among persons infected with HIV. Their presence usually indicates at least modest decreases in immune function.

At this point, you should be getting in contact with a healthcare provider that has expertise in HIV medicine. You'll be getting an array of baseline diagnostic evaluations and education about what's going on with your body and health.
