Dapsone is an alternative medication for the prevention of Pneumocystis pneumonia (PCP)-- used in persons who are allergic to (or intolerant of) trimethoprim/sulfa (Bactrim, Septra, Cotrimoxazole). The usual dose is 100 mg, once-daily. BY | |||||||||
