 Hello and thank you for your post. A positive TPHA test indicates previous exposure to syphilis. This should prompt treatments (usually penicillin injections), if you haven't had them already. I'm not sure why having a positive test affects your ability to work-- this makes no medical or scientific sense to me. Since the test detects antibodies to the syphilis organism, there isn't a treatment to make the test return to negative. Sorry, BY | ||||||||
