| Missed Atripla Dose - Panicking! Nov 29, 2008 Hi Doctors, I have been on Atriple for 5 months now. I have **NEVER** missed a single dose - until now. I am on a business trip and had the medicine packed in my checked luggage which the airlines misplaced. They have since sent this on to me and it just arrived. Local time here is now 8.00pm, so I have decided to take a dose as normal prior to going to bed tonight about 11.00pm. This will mean it has been 48 hours between doses. As I said, I have **NEVER** missed a dose and my VL on the last 2 sets of labs was undetectable. Will missing one dose make me resistant and do I have anything to worry about? Please help me - I am panicking here. Should I be? Thanks so much in advance for your reply. Western Guy in Asia. |

Response from Dr. Young
Dear WG in Asia, Not to worry, a single missed dose of Atripla won't cause any health problems. BY | |||||||||
