Could I be infected with hiv? Aug 27, 2008 Hello ! My name is Darrius, I have just been diagnosed with hsv-2! I believe I got the disease from a young lady I was messing with! I shaved my pubic hair and I cut my self! 2 days later I had sex with her and she bled on me! two days after that I noticed to raised blisters on my genitals! My question is to you is it possible if the young lady has hiv, is it possible I could of caught it, sense I believe she infected me with hsv? |

 Darrius: This lady did not infect you... if you caught something...you caught it yourself. Whenever you engage in this type of intimate contact this is a risk that you are accepting to take. If you have a question of your HIV sero-status, get an HIV test, and repeat it in 6 months. With the information you are providing, it is unlikely that you acquired HIV infection with that contact. | ||||||||
