RE: HIV Medication Ads May 29, 2008 Hi guys, This is more of a response to a recent post, regarding BIG Pharma's ads, concerning HIV meds. I was recently diagnosed with HIV about 6 months. I started Atrpila and have had an excellent response to it. If it wasn't for the drugs of today or yesterday, our fight with HIV/ AIDS would be very unsettling. No, I don't look like those shirtless guys in those ads (not yet :-). Coming from the advertising and entertainment world, people have to realize that SEX sells, including the meds to fight this terrible infection. I think that these meds offer people with HIV, including myself, the opportunity to continue having a full life. |
