AIDS fatal question - Feedback from the UK
Mar 3, 2008
Dear Dr Young,
I have read with profound disgust the question sent from the UK ("AIDS fatal").
I write from London and, as much as in the States, losing your job because of Hiv is illegal and it should be challenged in court.
The Disability Discrimination Act provides important workplace protection to people with Hiv from the moment of their diagnosis.
I would be grateful if you could publish my post, and invite who has sent that message to contact the Terence Higgis Trust (www.tht.org.uk / 0845 1221 200).
Response from Dr. Young
Thank you Fabrizio.
I hope that your information reaches our previous poster.
