| What exactly is Adherence? Feb 1, 2008 I very recently began taking Atripla. This is my first HIV med. So far, I seem to be handling the side effects well, a bit drunk, but it's wearing off daily. Thanks to Atripla, I've got it easy compared to others I know and have read about, so trust me, no complaints here. My question is, what kind of "slack" can I safely take in regards to time of day. Normally I take the pill at 10:00 pm and go to bed. But if I decide to go have a couple of beers with friends on the weekend, I don't want to take it until I return safely home. Can I, under normal circumstances (we are all different), wait a couple three hours before my daily dose? Thanks |

Response from Dr. Young
Thanks for your post. It would be perfectly fine to be off by a couple or 3 hours from time to time. BY | |||||||||
