Response from Dr. Young
Sorry to hear about your new diagnosis. The first thing to do (other than reading TheBody.com), is to locate your local AIDS service organization or ASO. TheBody.com's ASO Finder can be a very useful place to find out about eligibility for services and who's who in your city. Ultimately, you'll want to identify an experienced HIV care provider who can help you with diagnostics, preventive health strategies, and when needed, HIV medications. I hope this helps.
